Truck of Love

Truck of Love fills Christine Revell Children’s Home with heartwarming happiness

The CapeTalk Truck of Love with Woolworths and MySchool is back on the road to support locals in need of a little help and some festive spirit.

CapeTalk host Kieno Kammies took the Truck of Love to stop over at Christine Revell Children’s Home, which provides full-time care for up to 49 babies and children (aged 0-5 years) who have been referred by social workers and placed there by order of a children’s court.

Many of the children are either neglected, abandoned, abused, orphaned and are accepted at the home for care.

Listen to the full conversation from The John Maytham Show:

They went absolutely wild for father Christmas. They dived into the parcels of sweet treats, toiletries, teddy bears, and all the things that kids love and need. They're having loads of fun and have a moment to forget their backgrounds.
