Watch: Miners Shot Down

Miners Shot Down, the hard-hitting documentary about the Marikana Massacre, continues to make waves on the global film circuit. It won an Emmy Award for Best Documentary recently, but it has only been shown once on local TV.

EWN brings you a free screening of the gripping story of what went down in Marikana on 16 August 2012, when dozens of miners were gunned down by police in the worst massacre since the dawn of democracy.

The acclaimed film, directed by Rehad Desai, is billed as exposing the truth behind the Marikana mineworkers strike and the subsequent masscacre.
