Discussions continue between government, labour and business over the implementation of a uniform minimum wage.
Minimum wage policy researcher, Gilad Isaacs said that setting a minimum wage could bring several potential benefits, including increased GDP growth and the reduction of inequality.
According to Isaacs, there is a statistically insignificant impact to unemployment, when using sophisticated economic models.
