At the end of July, Kieno Kammies spoke to a listener who feared that her daughter Amber would not realise her dream of studying law at Stellenbosch University.
Despite achieving seven A’s for her matric in 2014, Amber couldn’t get a bursary.
Dr. Zameer Brey and other CapeTalk listeners gave generously and in 2016 Amber will start studying at Stelllenbosch University.
CapeTalk’s Kieno Kammies spoke to Lizanne Grey (Amber’s mom) and Amber Grey about her journey and plans for next year.
