December 5th marks exactly two years since former president Nelson Mandela died.
Katy Katopodis (Standing in for Stephen Grootes) spoke to Sello Hatang, CEO of Nelson Mandela Centre for Memory about the activities of the centre as well as events they have lined up in his memory.
According to Hatang a delegation of 18 people came from UNISA to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela. He says yesterday the centre hosted British royal Prince Harry and Graca Machel.
People are beginning to interrogate the legacy too closely however we need to be more generous in our assessment of the legacy.— Sello Hatang, CEO of Nelson Mandela Centre for Memory
