Nearly 150 sangomas burnt impepho (traditional incense) in front of the Department of Health offices in Pretoria on Thursday.
This was a part of a demonstration against draft proposals by Minister Aaron Motsoaledi to regulate their practice.
Head of the Traditional Healers Organisation, Phepsile Maseko on Friday said they felt some of the draft laws were controversial, overly ambitious and lacked understanding of their spiritual principals.
