President Zuma has lost control and must be recalled - Holomisa

United Democratic Movement (UDM) leader Bantu Holomisa has said that President Jacob Zuma has lost control and should be recalled with immediate effect.

According to Holomisa, Zuma's decision to redeploy Pravin Gordhan to the finance portfolio, after political pressure, shows that he is a lame-duck president.

He added that electoral legislation should be amended to give South Africans the power elect their own president.

Bantu Holomisa, President of the United Democratic Movement

As far as I can see, Zuma was told by his colleagues to change his decision and he is becoming a lame-duck president.

Bantu Holomisa, President of the United Democratic Movement

He has lost control and the only advisable thing the ANC should do is to recall him. If the ANC drag their feet, South African voters must punish them.

Bantu Holomisa, President of the United Democratic Movement

Zuma is a liability to South Africa and the sooner they show him the door, the better. I would advise President Zuma to start packing his bags at the Union Buildings.
