Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan says that he returns to Treasury at a much more difficult time than in his first tenure as Finance Minister, with South Africa being affected by a volatile economic climate.
However, Group Chief Economist at Standard Bank, Goolam Ballim, said that Gordhan’s re-appointment has restored confidence in South Africa’s economy.
