SA bodyboarder saves surfer from drowning in Hawaii

Andre Botha, a local professional bodyboarder recently rescued an American surfer from drowning in Hawaii.

CapeTalk and 702 presenter Africa Melane on Wednesday spoke to Botha about how he had on his instinct to safe the surfer.

I had to peddle in, it took me a little while. I grabbed him, he was sort of floating like feet in the air... not completely vertical, but his head was more towards the bottom of the water...
