Dianne Kohler Barnard fights expulsion from DA

Expelled Democratic Alliance member Dianne Kohler Barnard is presenting a case against her expulsion from the party. She was expelled after sharing a Facebook post which said public services were better during apartheid.

Tessa van Staden, standing in for Stephen Grootes, on Tuesday spoke to EWN reporter Rahima Essop about the former MP's options.

She pleaded guilty to charges of misconduct, bringing the party into disrepute, and breaching the DA's very strict social media policy...

... Should the Federal Executive or Dianne Kohler Barnard be not happy with the decision, they do have the option of turning to the High Court to review the decision.
