Heavy drinking a concerning 'sub-culture' among SA youth, says Motsoaledi

Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi has again expressed deep concern about the high alcohol consumption among South Africans.

Motsoaledi on Monday said that the high levels of alcohol consumption among youth has become a concerning sub-culture across the country.

Raising the legal drinking age will not solve the issue of underage drinking alone; instead intersected laws for liquor licensing must be implemented to curb the crisis.
