I'm not too happy with the figures. When I was compiling my report, it reveals that we still have an attitude and it's killing our motorists.— Zinhle Mngomezulu, KZN road traffic inspectorate spokesperson
We are still worried about people dying on the roads, especially vehicle overloading. The taxis are overloading and passengers are dying.— Busaphi Nxumalo, Gauteng traffic chief
What is noticeable is that we had zero fatalities on our roads on the 27th. Yesterday, we had two fatalities so it looks like the message is getting to the motorists.— Kenny Africa, Western Cape traffic chief
