Roman Crookes quits his position as Medupi project director

The project director of the new Medupi power station, Roman Crookes has resigned.

It is reported that Phillip Dukashe has been appointed to replace Crookes to run Medupi power station without a handover from Crookes.

Initially Crookes was to leave his position at the end of January but that is no longer the case.

To have a project director who’s been with this project from day one to suddenly leave without notice and without a handover, I think that does raise concerns.
