A concern about high sugar content in SA children's diets

The high sugar content in South African children's diets is a growing concern for government and the health sector due to the health risks that may follow.

702 and Cape Talk's Koketso Sachane spoke to nutritionist, Jane Badham, about the increasing health risks for children.

Listen to the interview below:

Jane Badham, nutritionist

We know that there are a number of issues about having a high sugar intake. Also because these foods are low in a number of important vitamins and minerals especially because kids need nutrient dense foods.
