Are there still spaces at universities to accommodate late applicants?

According to Prof Kinta Burger of University of Johannesburg, there are few programmes available for late applicants, however, students can only apply online or through the university’s call centre.

There are couple of programs that we still have spaces available for those who have not yet applied or for those who would like to change a program.

John Maytham also spoke to Prof Stanley Mukhola, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Teaching Learning and Technology at Tshwane University of Technology.

According to Mukhola students can go onto their website to check the programs that are still available on Monday.

He says that the University received 95 000 applications which they can only take 13 500. There are very few courses available, he says.
