Aftermath of road collisions

There have been a number of fatal road crashes that have been spoken about on our breakfast show.

The first one is the incident on the N2 last Friday when the driver of a BMW convertible was captured by a dashcam slamming into the barrier and one of the passengers thrown out, fatally injured.

The other incident took place on Saturday morning – leading to the death of a motorcyclist who was hit by a car as well as a pedestrian, who was hit by the bike. We found out yesterday from Michelle in Blouberg that the pedestrian was a petrol attendant from a local filling station, and that his wife is a domestic worker who also gave birth to their baby soon after the incident.

Nicky Woodhall, a resident of Flamingo Vlei (Table View) heard about this sad story and while she had never met the attendant, asked via her Facebook page for the community to help the widow.
