Is Marius Fransman being given special treatment by the ANC in the Western Cape?

Marianne Thamm of the Daily Maverick says that the ANC in the Western Cape needs to make a decision against its Chairperson Marius Fransman.

It is reported that Fransman allegedly assaulted a 20-year-old employee en route to the party's 104th birthday celebrations in Rustenburg last week.

The ANC is yet to meet on Friday to discuss allegations against Fransman.

If the ANC is serious about Women rights, equality and violence, Fransman himself should voluntarily step-down.

Marianne Thamm of the Daily Maverick

I think he should step-down just out of respect for the party, its members and those who voted for the ANC in the Western Cape
