SA social entrepreneur rethinks education using mobile learning tool

Rethink Education is an innovative digital education platform that’s changing the way high-schoolers learn by using their favourite tool: mobile phones.

Social entrepreneur Doug Hoernle developed a data-lite mobile platform with easy, accessible and digestible chunks of educational content.

Hoernle said that nearly 500 000 students have engaged with learning material on their platform as a means to study.
