Learners who wrote their National Senior Certificate exams last year and are not happy with their results, they now have an opportunity to apply to write a supplementary exam, or have their papers re-marked.
According to Western Cape Education Department, 7000 out of the 53 000 learners who wrote exams last year, qualify for supplementary.

She says there is no cost for supplementary but there is definitely a fee for re-mark and re-check which the correct amount could be found on their website.
