The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (Popcru) plans to go to court to stop the current restructuring process and the enforcement of the so-called ‘Back to Basics’ programme.
Popcru is strongly opposed to the restructuring announced by Acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane last year.
Popcru spokesperson Richard Mamabolo on Thursday said the union would take legal action to reverse all the restructuring and appointments made thus far.
