Cape Town metro police have confiscated at least eight Saps and metro police radios on the premises of a towing company in Blackheath on Thursday.
The Tactical Response Unit responded to a tip-off from a community member and the owner of the business was arrested.
Metro police chief Wayne Le Roux on Friday said that the police radios are often used for illegal activities.
