WC has new police chief - Lt-General Khombinkosi Jula

Lieutenant-General Khombinkosi Jula was officially appointed as the new Provincial Police Commissioner for the Western Cape.

General Jula has previously served as a Deputy Police Commissioner in KwaZulu Natal and has 28 years of policing experience.

Jula is expected to start work on 1 February 2016.
