Nkandla: DA to go ahead with #PayBackTheMoney case at ConCourt

The Democratic Alliance (DA) will continue with a Constitutional Court case against President Jacob Zuma next Tuesday over the Nkandla spending debacle.

This comes after Zuma proposed that the Auditor-General and the Minister of Finance should determine the amount he should repay of the R246 million spent on his private home.

EWN's Rahima Essop said DA leader Mmusi Maimane rejected what he described as Zuma's fifth attempt to establish a "parallel process".

Listen to the full conversation from The Midday Report with Stephen Grootes:

Maimane says after taking legal advice, the party will be proceeding with taking arguments to the Constitutional Court.

The DA notes the settlement offer proposed by the President last night, but in it's view, the offer doesn't comply with the remedial action set out by the Public Protector.
