A very unhappy motorist wrote a letter to Cape Argus pointing out the inefficiency of the traffic lights around the city bowl and how this inefficiency is wasting his time and petrol.
Robert Burr in his letter described frustrating moments when some traffic lights would be on red for both pedestrians and motorists, and no one is moving for some time.
