We have received many calls from businesses about what they are to ameliorate the impact of the current loadshedding situation we find ourselves in.
Power cuts are here to stay, so many businesses and residents will be thinking about how to get “off the grid”.
We received an email from Robert Kruger who co-owns a company which can help people do just this:
“The products are reasonably priced and easily affordable to most home owners. The low end investment can be used to ease the burden of load shedding by allowing lights and small appliances to be used during power cuts. Should the customer wish to make a larger investment we can supply systems that can take them completely off the grid. We also supply kits for informal housing which will supply lights for up to six hours and charge a cellphone.”
To tell us more we are joined on the line by Robert’s business partner, and the CEO of Green Energy SA Roy Potter.
