The Economic Freedom Fighters stopped singing and sat down during the 'Die Stem' part of the national anthem at the 2016 State of the Nation Address.
Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) leader Dr. Pieter Mulder on Friday said that he took offence to this behaviour.
Mulder explained that the action was compromising the efforts in building harmony in a multi-cultural society.
