Zuma's SOE shake up is 'good news' but must happen soon

President Jacob Zuma has released a report of the Presidential Review Commission on the partial privatisation of State Owned Enterprises - through listing and public private partnership.

The report was first commissioned in 2010 and business leaders urged the President to move forward on this last week, as a way of avoiding a downgrade.

Ray White spoke to economist at Econometrix about this report and whether this solution will be enough to avoid a downgrade.
