The third annual AfrAsia Bank Cape Wine Auction this year raised R15 million to further education in the Cape winelands.
The auction was held at Klein Constantia over the weekend.
The first ever bottle of Touch Warwick Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 was sold for R1.3 million.
The bottle was bought out of collaboration between “T-Bo Touch” Molefe, MD of Touch Lifestyles Group and Mike Ratcliffe, MD of Warwick Estate.
John Maytham spoke to Mike Ratcliffe who says they are very pleased with the outcomes of the auction.
