The fifth annual Cape Town International Animation Festival has an impressive line-up, bringing some of the best animators and top industry leaders under one roof.
The festival gets underway this weekend at the River Club in Observatory, and runs from 18 to 21 February.
This annual festival brings South Africans an opportunity to catch some of the world’s best animated films from countries such as France, Brazil, Australia, Ireland and South Africa.

Festival director Dianne Makings says Nedy Acet from Dreamworks is on top of her highlights for the festival.
Acet will be giving a masterclass on Friday, 19 February, focusing on bringing 3D characters to life and infusing them with emotion.
