South African Revenue Service (Sars) says its commissioner Tom Moyane is not going anywhere and he will not resign to resolve his public dispute with Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan.
Sars denies leaking confidential information to allegedly discredit Moyane amid a Hawks investigation into a suspected Sars rogue unit.
Political analyst Ralph Mathekga says the Sars investigation may have merits, but it is being used for the political prosecution of Gordhan.
