A number of moms were infuriated by the way Tasneem Botha was treated by Edgars store in Cavendish Square last week and chose to organize a nurse-in at the store yesterday.
Botha was apparently mocked and eventually chased out of the shop for breastfeed her hungry child. Edcon CEO, Bernie Brooks has since apologised for the wrongful actions of the team member at the Edgars store.
Brooks said that they would ensure that all staff support guests in their stores if they wish to breastfeed their children.
