Partners for Possibility supports principals to bring change in SA's education

Partners for Possibility is a Non-profit organisation based in Cape Town. The organisation was established in 2010 in an effort to improve a school's education outcome.

They look for help in the business world and others who are successful in other spheres to help mentor and support principals to achieve better results in their schools.

CapeTalk’s Pippa Hudson spoke to Melanie Burke, one of the directors of Partners for Possibility

Listen to the full conversation below:

Often we find that principals have been teachers who perform exceptionally, who have been promoted to the role of leadership at schools without necessary the training and support.

Melanie Burke, director at Partners for Possibility

And we thought what better way than to find these well-equipped leaders who knows how to lead this large scale change and partner them with the school principals who may need to learn how to lead large scale change

Melanie Burke, director at Partners for Possibility

According to Burke, Partners for Possibility is currently working in 400 schools in South Africa.
