The South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) took place on Sunday night and 'Skeem Saam' bagged a Golden Horn for the Most Popular Soapie.
Small screen and big screen actors celebrated the 10th annual ceremony in style, according to entertainment journalist Gabi Mbele.
While 'Rhythm City' took the award for Best Soapie, Mbele says most popular carries greater significance.

Mbele says credit must also be given to the moving drama 'Dis Ek, Anna' (directed by Sara Blecher) which won Best Feature Film.
