The African National Congress (ANC) will meet today with Gupta-owned media companies amid allegations of the family's state capture.
EWN's Govan Whittles says the ANC is displeased with reports from the Gupta media house claiming that rival factions are fighting to have President Jacob Zuma recalled and also that there is a battle for control of the ruling party.
Secretary General Gwede Mantashe said that they feel that the Gupta family is using their media empire to fight political battles because the ANC is raising questions about their undue influence in the state.— Govan Whittles, EWN Reporter

Meanwhile senior South African Communist Party (SACP) member Solly Mapaila says the ANC's so-called 'premier league' is a political front for the Gupta family.
