City will be out in full force to stop road deaths this Easter Weekend

Fatalities on our roads are always too high after a long weekend such as the one coming up. Western Cape MEC for Transport Donald Grant assures drivers that they will be out in full force.

In particular traffic officials will be focusing on the return trip motorists make on the way back from their. holiday. Grant says this is when most accidents occur.

We use technology for automatic number plate recognition...so we will have all the driver information along those roads and they will be pulled over.

Donald Grant, MEC W. Cape Transport

He says they are taking road accident fatalities very seriously.

I can assure you and your listeners, we are going to be out in force this weekend.
