The docket was apparently stolen from a vehicle used by one of the investigating officers parked outside their Pretoria premises.
The docket related to Breytenbach's charges of obstruction and defeating the ends of justice.
Hawks spokesperson Major Robert Netshiunda says they are following several leads and hope to make an arrest soon.
Out of everything that was in the car, only that docket was stolen. A case was opened and it's being investigated... We would not want to make any speculations regarding the theft at this stage.— Major Robert Netshiunda, Hawks spokesperson
