Leader of the Umkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association (MKVMA) Kebby Maphatsoe says the cadres who've petitioned against the alleged state capture by the Gupta family do not represent the views of MKVMA.
They've written a petition as individuals... MKVMA is only the structure that speaks to the ANC and speaks on behalf of all former members.— Kebby Maphatsoe, MKVMA leader
Former generals drafted a memorandum which was sent to the African National Congress (ANC) calling for President Jacob Zuma's removal.
Maphatsoe advised that the ruling party dismiss the memorandum and hand it over to the MKVMA so that the MK Vet organisation can address it with those individuals involved.
That group in no way represent the views of MKVMA and I don't think the ANC should give that letter seriousness. They should give that letter to us.— Kebby Maphatsoe, MKVMA leader
