Fraudsters using De Lille's name to bait victims in e-mail phishing scam

The Executive Mayor of Cape Town, Patricia De Lille, has found that her name is being used in what appears to be a phishing scam.

According to De Lille, communication has been sent from a forged e-mail address (patriciadelille@consultant.com) in addition to a fake Facebook profile used to solicit contact details.

I do want to appeal to the members of the public not to repsond to e-mails coming from this account.
