DA federal leader, Mmusi Maimane, on Tuesday said the rot in the ANC is like a cancer that has corrupted the party.
The leader of the official opposition debated in the National Assembly that President Jacob Zuma must be removed as president.

We know that the ANC will fall in line behind president Zuma but it is not our job to worry about the internal politics of the ANC— Mmusi Maimane, DA federal leader
Our job is to uphold the Constitution, to expose the truth and to offer a clear way forward for the country.— Mmusi Maimane, DA federal leader
The judgement handed down by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng should have been enough to secure President Zuma's fate— Mmusi Maimane, DA federal leader
Maimane did not mince his words in his attack on Zuma's leadership and the ANC government, going further to say that the ANC is a rotten party.
When the highest court in the land ruled that the man occupying the highest office violated the Constitution, it should have been the end of President Zuma. Because the judgement removed any doubt that the president has forsaken his Oath of Office.— Mmusi Maimane, DA federal leader
The anger in our country remains palpable, the people of this country don't like to be taken for fools. And that is what President Zuma and Gwede Mantashe did.— Mmusi Maimane, DA federal leader
