Over three million people made their way to voting stations for voter registration at the weekend, says the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).
The IEC has appealed to voters to ensure their home addresses are on the system and says final registration results will be published in the course of the week.
The IEC's Sy Mamabolo says voters without valid addresses can still submit their details at any IEC office.
You can still visit the office of the municipal electoral officer. There are over 200 such buildings across the country.— Sy Mamabolo, IEC Deputy Electoral Officer
Mamabolo says people can phone the IEC call centre on 0800 118000 to locate the nearest municipal office.
