In the early hours of Friday, Ayanda Ngesi says her family had a traumatic experience. She says it was police brutality at its best.
Talking to John Maytham, Ngesi explained how the police banged on their doors and forced their way into the house and made their way into the bedrooms without any explanation whatsoever.

They then said my car was involved in a hijacking incident in Kuilsriver— Ayanda Ngesi
According to Ngesi, the police arrested her and her two brothers and drove around with them at the back of the police van while they were arresting other people.
When got to the police station they took my brothers into holding cells saying they fit the description given by the witness.— Ayanda Ngesi
While in a holding cell, Ngesi says her brother was assaulted by the police who claimed he was behaving disrespectfully.
