More and more groups and individuals are rallying together in an effort to unseat President Jacob Zuma.
The City of Cape Town has approved a Zuma Must Fall protest march on Freedom Day 27 April 2016 in the CBD.
March organiser Christelle Scheepers has urged the youth to take up their leadership positions and be politically conscious.
We are the younger generation, set to take over from the current leadership. It's time for us young one's to step up to the plate and make things happen.— Christelle Scheepers, Zuma Must Fall organiser
The march, which starts at 11am, will begin at Keizergracht Street and move to Parliament where participants plan to picket and engage in dialogue.
Organisations in other cities are also expected to apply for protest march permits, to coincide with the planned Freedom Day countrywide demonstrations.
