Train services derailed by ongoing attacks

Metrorail has come under attack over the past two weeks amid strike action by workers affiliated to trade union Satawu.

Train services have been thrown into disarray during a spate of vandalism and arson attacks.

Metrorail management are working with law enforcement to investigate the crimes and say they are monitoring the situation closley.

Metrorail's Richard Walker says more cables and apparatus cases were stolen on Wednesday morning, further compromising services on the Northern Line.

They have vowed to do everything possible to stabalise services and transport commuters safely.

The major concern is that we move trains and get commuters from point A to point B.
