ANC MP, Strike Ralegoma called for the removal of the Springbok emblem from the national rugby team’s jersey at the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee meeting on sport and recreation.
Ralekgoma suggested that all national teams must play with a single emblem in order to achieve transformation.
