Post office workers say they are going on strike, again

Despite the Post Office battle to stay afloat, the workers are threatening to go on strike again.

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) says they have had negotiations with management but have not found a resolution.

We are suffering and we must go to the streets on the 5th and 6th.

We had a meeting with Mark Barnes, and it is unfortunate he is arrogant and does not want to listen to unions...we understand he is new, but it doesn't mean the Post Office did not function in his absence.

Grootes suggested that the long strikes in the past may have contributed to the Post office's problems, and things are now trying to be turned around by new CEO Mark Barnes. But Mervyn did not agree.

It is not strikes that have killed the Post Office, it is corruption that has killed the Post office.
