A taste of home without the fuss with Why Cook?

Why Cook? offers home-style cooking with a modern flair to individuals, families and companies looking for convenient and value-packed offerings.

702/Cape Talk's Redi Tlhabi spoke to the founders, Mathapelo Montsho and Yolanda Nomoyi, who shared more about their offerings.

Listen to the interview below:

It's easy because you know that your meals are ready for a week. You just come home, defrost and chow away.

Mathapelo Montsho, Why Cook? co-founder

We both come from a public relations and communications background. Yolanda and I work hand-in-hand and she's my business partner.

Mathapelo Monthso, Why Cook? co-founder

It's home cooked, not mass produced. What you find is that mass produced food doesn't have the authentic home taste.

Mathapelo Montsho, Why Cook? co-founder

Why Cook? offer varied options to cater to the needs of corporate clients and small groups, with orders being placed 72 hours in advance.

We try to keep it to a niche market with no more than 150 people... We go to corporates to hear from them on what it is they want to eat.

Mathapelo Monthso, Why Cook? co-founder

You need to hold on. You will have a lot of people giving you advice but you need to have your own vision and know what to select to help your business thrive.
