A fundraising initiative was started for Darryn August, a man who was thrown off a moving train while trying to defend a pregnant woman who was being robbed.
Darryn went through a spinal surgery after he sustained a spinal fracture and punctured lungs when he was attacked.
His brother Bernard August says he is making progress and he is already going through therapy.
He says that doctors are yet to determine whether his brother will be able to walk again.
Bernard says there is some sensation in Darren‘s feet and believes his brother will be able to walk again.
