What's Good Cape Town?

Why Absolut Hair is a cut above other salons in the Cape

There is power in the perfect highlight or fresh cut, and nothing says great service like a healthy head of hair and happy customer.

Recently, the CapeTalk team asked listeners and locals to submit their nominations for the best salon in the Mother City.

Capetonians entered and chose Absolut Hair to be profiled as the first local company in the feature #WhatsGoodCapeTown.

Salon owner, Steven Phillips says he and his team of creative stylists thrive on a hair challenge.

It's hard to trust a new stylist with one's tresses, but we decided to put Absolut Hair to the test.

WATCH: CapeTalk finds out if Absolut Hair makes the cut:

Some say a visit to the salon is a therapeutic experience...

The 'Before'...

The wash and shampoo....

The trim...

The colour and dye...

The blow out...

And, voilà... a very impressed client!
