Linda Wilson is the founder of Young Entrepreneurs Pocket Money Market Project which is aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship as a viable option for young children.
Wilson teaches children from 3 to 16 years old about costing, pricing, accounting, marketing, advertising and much more. She also runs a market, affording these children an opportunity to sell their own goods and earn a little pocket money.
After a year of operation, Linda says they managed to assist a pair of nine year olds to ship their products to the UK. The pair made dolls that helps to get rid of bad dreams.
We've got some kids who managed to do some incredible exports and that's very exciting— Linda Wilson, founder of Young Entrepreneurs Pocket Money Market Project
Wilson says she is currently looking for children with brilliant entrepreneurial intentions to join Young Entrepreneurs Pocket Money Market Project.
