It still hasn’t sunk in. You have no idea, I feel like I am on a cloud. It has been the most surreal 24 hours of my life. It’s unbelievable

Richard Stirton, winner of The Voice SA

Listen to the full conversation below:

Stirton says Universal announced last night that his single will be released in two weeks, which means there will be no time to relax.

To start working on something like that is very exciting but there is a lot of pressure and you have to work hard. No time to relax.

Richard Stirton, winner of The Voice SA

He says his studies will be on hold while he is working on his music career.

I’m going to try this music thing and see what happens. But I do believe I will finish it because I do not like starting something and not finishing it

Richard Stirton, winner of The Voice SA

Stirton believes it was timing and song selection that helped him come on top.
